COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS GIVEAWAY

LG&E Co. Credit Union is giving away two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors. The interested students must complete an application and present an essay of 300 words or less on “What Would You Do to Better Credit Unions”. A committee will review the applications and essays to determine the recipients.

The applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Be a member of LG&E Co. Credit Union.

Be a graduating senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Have been accepted by a local college or trade school in Indiana or Kentucky.

The application and essay must be received by April 25, 2008. Recipients will be announced at the 75th Annual Meeting on May 15, 2008. The check will be presented to the recipients and made payable to the recipient and the institution that he or she is attending.

The applications can be picked up at either Credit Union office or printed from the website at scholarship application.pdf.
